Meet Rose.
Rose Fisher-Jost, M.S. CCC-SLP, born and raised in Kankakee, is a highly qualified and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Rose possesses a deep passion for helping individuals overcome their communication difficulties. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2009 and received a Master’s Degree in Communication Science & Disorders at St. Cloud State University in 2013. Throughout her studies, she also received advanced training in autism spectrum disorders by completing an Autism Certificate Program to further her education within this population.
Rose brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Kankakee area, and she is eager to return home and serve her local communities. Rose has experience working in a variety of clinical settings, including in-home therapy, inpatient/hospitals, outpatient adult and pediatric clinics, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) clinics, and school settings. She has developed partnerships with the Down Syndrome Foundation and sought out leadership roles throughout here career by ensuring evidence-based practices in all clinical sessions.
